OUR INSTRUCTORS

 

    Erin Moulton

Erin started with KTJ in 2008.  She is a graduate of University of Colorado with a bachelor’s degree in music and vocal performance.  Erin has enjoyed several years of children’s musical theater instruction.  She teaches piano and voice and general music for KTJ and her creative, energetic approach captivates all of her students!


    Alexander Myers

Alexander started with KTJ in 2008.  He is a graduate of Radford University and holds a degree in music education.  Alexander has taught for over seven years and is proficient at flute, clarinet, saxophone and piano.

    Veronica Scotto

Veronica joined KTJ in the summer of 2008.  She holds a degree in music from the University Of Buffalo with an emphasis on violin performance.  Veronica has several years experience teaching K-8 students in a group strings environment.  Veronica instructs our string orchestra programs and is also available for private home instruction.

    Karen Spurney

Karen joined KTJ in the summer of 2008.  She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from USC in piano performance and is a credentialed California teacher.  She loves working with children of all ages and is available for private home instruction.

    Tim Dolinar

Tim is a new 2009 addition to Key to Joy.  He is a graduate of Cal State Fresno, where he received his Master of Music degree.  Tim has been teaching saxophone and other woodwinds for the past seven years and currently instructs in our orchestra and general music programs.  Tim is excited to be a part of the Key to Joy team!

    Cosima Luther   

Cosima has been teaching violin for over ten years.  She holds a Master of Music degree from the USC Thorton School of Music.  Cosima co-founded the annual summer music festival Rocky Mountain Fiddle Camp, where she teaches group and private violins lessons.  Cosima instructs in our violin orchestra program and teaches privately with Key to Joy.  She is an enthusiastic and warm teacher!

    Danielle Mays

Danielle is a multi-instrumentalist who specializes in the woodwind family.  She holds a Master of Music degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.  Danielle is a flute instructor in our KTJ orchestra program and also teaches general music.  Danielle is passionate about music education and she is available for private lessons.

    Matt Rubin

Matt is a graduate of USC Thorton School of Music where he received his Master’s degree in trumpet performance.  He currently leads KTJ’s trumpet orchestra classes and also teaches privately.

    Megan Woeppel

Megan is from a musical family and has been around music education her entire life.  She studied music and music education at MidAmerica Nazarene University in Kansas City and has been teaching for five years.  Megan currently teaches in several of Key to Joy’s general music and orchestral programs.  She specializes in french horn, violin, piano, voice and guitar.

    Rachel Silverman

Rachel has been teaching instrumental and general music in elementary schools for the past four years.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education and her K-12 Single Subject Credential from the University of Redlands in 2005.  Rachel currently teaches general music with Key to Joy.  She is a passionate and energetic music teacher.
