Key to Joy Music was founded in 1997 by Aaron Glassman. Aaron began teaching music at one small preschool in Hollywood. What started out with a general music class and a single piano class has evolved into a full service music education company. We now serve ten prestigious schools in the Los Angeles Area, and we have over 150 private students.
Our mission is to bring innovative, passionate music education to students of all ages.
We believe that the best teachers are the ones that can utilize their creativity and personality to engage students and bring out their inherent connection to music.
Our Key to Joy staff of professional instructors have experience working with a wide range of students and most hold degrees in music and/or music education. Key to Joy instructors are selected first and foremost on their abilities to connect, relate and inspire students.
Aaron Glassman studied music for over thirty years. He attended Berklee School of Music and taught classroom music education for Pre-schools through 3rd grade for seven years.
Through his years teaching, Aaron composed many children’s songs that he incorporated into his music lessons. Aaron recorded his first children’s CD/Picture Book in 2006 entitled “Life Lessons with Mr.Aaron and Mr.Andrew” now available for purchase here online.
